GATE OUTREACH PROGRAM: CONNECTING TO TESS

In the past few months, staff with the new Elizabeth Fry Girls Action against Trafficking & Exploitation (GATE) Program have attended all Regional and Cultural Advisory groups to disseminate information about this provincial program and local toll free after-hours outreach phone line:

The phone line operates daily, including weekends:

Mon/Wed/Thurs/Fri: 9am-1am

Tues: 9am-11pm

Sat: 10am-1am

Sun: 12pm-1am

The phone line is intended for individuals who are at risk of, are currently, or are survivors of commercial sexual exploitation to find help, navigate supports and services, or just to talk. When appropriate and according to callers’ needs, E-Fry will contact TESS partners and make referrals.
