PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Host homes are safe, nurturing and supportive homes in the community that welcome youth aged 16-24 that are at risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. They provide a safe place to stay, access to food, and emotional support for youth. Wrap around support for the youth and for the host home ensures a win-win connection.
PROGRAM SUPPORTS: Private bedroom lodging for youth within host home from 2 weeks to 1 year; Access to food; Welcoming environment; Access to youth outreach worker; Education supports and resources.
